Tiffin University was announced as a co-winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership 2021 annual meeting. This award recognizes a business, organization or individual with a continuous history of operation in the community.
Since 1888, Tiffin University has served the Tiffin community by transforming lives through education. TU has always believed in offering the highest quality of education that is applicable to real-world experiences and prepares students for successful careers. Tiffin University also plays an integral role in the community by creating numerous job opportunities. The university has over 250 full-time employees, and is one of the largest income tax generators in the county.
Additionally, TU partnered with Heidelberg University to create a quiet zone to make railroad crossings safer, and together, the universities bring a combined 100,000 visitors to Tiffin each year.

Since its founding in 1888, Tiffin University has successfully educated students for productive and satisfying lives of leadership, excellence, and service. Tiffin University has an excellent reputation, a variety of strong academic programs and co-curricular activities, attractive facilities, caring and competent faculty and staff members, outstanding students, and a friendly, personal environment where students come first.
In collaboration with colleges and universities in the region, Tiffin University's Esports program will continue competing in the Great Lakes Esports Conference (GLEC), with three new teams joining the conference for the 2020-21 season.
The three new additions are Bethel University, Grace College, and Manchester University. That brings the total conference membership to 12 schools across Ohio and Indiana competing in League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant, Super Smash Bros, Halo Infinite, and Rocket League.
