In the short term, I intend to keep making it out of my pools and even making top 8 at the offline majors I'm able to attend, as well as continue my online grind and keep improving. Specifically, I'm hoping to at least get out of my Frosty Faustings pool, and play on stream in top 16 or top 32.

My long term goal is to become one of the best Tekken players in North America. I hope to eventually be spoken of in the same context as Joey Fury or Anakin, and represent both Buffalo and the United States on the international stage.

My name is James Battista, and I've been playing Tekken 7 at a competitive level for about one year. Tekken is a game which is dominated at it's top level by extremely experienced players. That is why I believe what I have been able to do in the short time I've been seriously competing warrants your interest in me.

In just a year of serious competition, I've consistently placed top 8 in high level online tournaments, beating world renowned players like Ty and Shadow_20z. Additionally, I placed 4th at an offline major this past year, NEC 2022. I already intend on attending Frosty Faustings in 2023, as well as any other major offline tournaments I can make it to, and would love to represent you and your sponsors when I make top 8 there!

As for my personal information, I've been a resident of Buffalo New York for my entire life. I've had a lifelong love for video games, starting with Counter Strike, but eventually finding my way to fighting games. I'm also a competent video editor, and have a high quality PC to stream with. My other interests include movies, theater, music, and especially sports. I love my Buffalo Bills, and I'm an avid MMA fan.
