I have always been interested in becoming the type of pro player that specializes in champion and item statistics and can assist with tactical decisions before the game in terms of optimizing champion performance.
Despite a full time job, I am fully committed to entering the pro scene for Wild Rift and will do what is necessary. If I can manage Diamond with a supportive wife and a job, the sky is the limit if I have even more backing and support to pursue it.
Statistically speaking, a great support can have the second greatest effect on a Wild Rift match, second only to the jungler. How?
1) By shutting down the enemy ADC and support, you have the best chance to make 2 out of their team useless. That is 40% of their team behind on gold and XP.
2) You boost your ADC and yourself above theirs with gold and XP and snowballing into the game.
3) A great support in the late game, will further set up kills and advantages for the entire team, benefitting all
This is why I main support. When I play mid or top, I follow the same principle: I play champs that benefit the entire team with support or crowd control like Galio, or Twisted Fate, or Veigar.
My goal is always the game and team above the individual stats. If I can make a 5v5 fight into our wil where all 4 the others are alive and only I died, that is for me a great win as I greatly benefitted the team at minimal cost.
