Get acclimated to the competitive scene. Increase my skill in COD/FPS and maybe see if i have a chance at the pro circuit.

Hello my name is Jacob I am 21 years old. Recently i have been thinking about the possibility of competitive gaming. I don't have a lot of experience in the competitive field but thinking about it has always caught my interest. I've been gaming for about 11 years mostly FPS but i do enjoy other types of games. I'm gonna be honest here and try to not to inflate my self or, overestimate my abilities. My COD:MW KD is 1.74, my W/L ratio is 1.45. I do think i am better than the average player but those are obviously public matches which differ from competitive play. My play style is usually summed up to be rushing or moving as much as possible. I like to mess around with sniping every once in a while but that's not always viable. I put PC gaming down as my platform mostly cause i was just confused as what to put. I play most of my games on XBOX one, but recently i have been playing MW on PC with a controller, because i am better with it. I am looking for an opportunity to try competitive gaming and see if it right for me. This is where i am supposed to sell to you why i can be a value to your team but since i have no prior experience that is something i can not do fully. I hope anyone who reads this can give me tips about my profile and/or about the competitive field to further my chances. Thank you for reading.
