Hello!
I'm John, better known as Slendy (or PresidentSlendy).
I've been playing video games since I was really young, and started playing my first private matches/scrims in 2014. I was inspired by watching the ESL ONE Battlefield 4 offline finals in Germany, I wanted to play at an event like that. So in May 2015 I had my very first official match in the ESL ONE against Fnatic. I was with a brand new team, and we were all almost fully inexperienced, but it was the beginning of a long journey. Since then I've played for 6 different teams, grown as a player, boosted my results and learned from playing against some of the best players in the scene.
My journey hasn't been easy, I've had to take the leadership-role in most teams I've played for, and although that has taught me a lot, it has indeed been a rough journey.
With Battlefield 1, I finally got to play alongside teammates who I could rely on, which obviously led to a lot better results! I have been playing other games on the side as well, such as CS:GO and PUBG, where I have a tiny tiny bit of competitive experience as well.
As I progressed, and followed esports as a whole, my ambitions grew bigger. Don't let my ambitions fool you though, I'm a team player from the beginning. I'll rather let my stats take a hit in order for my teammates to shine in the right moments, simply because I rather want the W over good stats. I'm a support player from the bottom up, but I can be aggressive when needed.
Like I said, I'm used to leading, and I can do a lot of calling, but I would prefer to do less leading and less calling. If I can play with a team under an experienced player that can IGL, it will help me massively in order to focus on my own gameplay more.
