ambitions

My ambition is to be the best in the room. I don't like knowing someone is better than me. Another ambition I have is to do something that I enjoy and I know I would enjoy this. Ideally I could make a career out of it.

Growing up with a N64, my go to was Super Smash Bros. My dad and his friends would sometimes play with me and he still tells stories about his 4 year old whooping up on him and his buddies. I once had a babysitter who made the mistake of playing with me. Now I don't remember this, but apparently I had smack talked her the whole night. It's safe to say that I have always been competitive in gaming. To this day I have a drive to be the best of all my friends and family. In high school I was getting pretty good at Halo 3. I didn't know much about the growing gaming industry, and he idea of pro teams was completely over my head. I enjoyed gaming, but growing up on a farm I never imagined being able to make a living from playing. So when I was contacted to join a team in high school for Halo 3, I wrote it off as a scam and moved on with my life. I played sports and figured I would have time in the day to complete the hours they had asked, which was 6 hours I believe. Looking back, I would have quit football that day. I went on to college and graduated with a bachelors degree in sport management, quickly got a job as a sport director at a YMCA which I worked at for 7 months. Realizing this is not what I wanted to to I put my 2 weeks in. Now I am trying to get back into the industry that I am truly passionate about. Throughout the years, games have stayed a constant in my life. I consistently stayed in the top .5% for PUBG during its first year on Xbox. Now I have turned my focus towards Apex and I am starting to get that feeling I got with Halo 3 back in high school. My Apex games range from 1 kill with 350 damage to 10 kills with 1800 damage. I'm at a point in my life now where I would love to get into professional gaming. I'm currently Xbox but would like to branch out to PC. I have a great personality and am very easy to get along with. I like to keep things light hearted in game and motivate teammates who are having a hard time. I hope to hear from you! Thanks for making it this far.
