Virginia Wesleyan University's co-ed collegiate esports program that offers students the chance to participate competitive gaming. VWU is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and the Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference (MAEC). VWU Esports has five titles including League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Valorant, Rocket League and Fortnite.
Members will receive access to the Marlin eSports Arena located in the Jane P. Batten Student Center on campus as well as the Beverly Hall Digital Media Lab (secondary space). Members will also one free customizable esports jersey to wear during events. VWU hosts its own LAN event every year called "Collision on the COast" and plans to expand even more. There are oppurtunities for growth within the program. If you are interested or have experience in social media, photography, braodcasting, streaming, or casting, please let us know.
