ACADEMY TEAMS
We currently have 6 active Yuzu Dog Academy Teams:
Yuzu Dog | Red
Yuzu Dog | Blue
Yuzu Dog | Yellow
Yuzu Dog | Green
Yuzu Dog | Orange
Yuzu Dog | Purple
The order of these teams is arbitrary and they are considered equal within the organization. The roster for each team is assembled by the Team Captain and approved by the Admins.
Each Academy Team has:
3 Starters
2 Alternates
The Academy Team Rosters can be rearranged at any time through CAPTAIN/ROSTER requests and admin analysis. Alternates can be brought up as a starter for any team but starters must be TRADED between Team Captains. Any Roster Member can also be released and sent down to the free agent pool where they become free game for other Team Captains.
All roster change requires Admin approval. Reasonable requests will be approved.
TEAM CAPTAINS
TEAM CAPTAINS are the key to the Yuzu Dog Academy teams. They accept/deny requests for tryouts, form their rosters, and set schedules for their teams. They can accept calls for tournaments and scrims and dictate their teams strategy.
Players will only be granted Team CAPTAIN status once they’ve shown they are up to the task and have earned the respect of their fellow server members.
Team CAPTAINs can lose their status from breaking rules or poor performance. If there are any issues with a team captain that can’t be solved internally feel free to contact the Admins. DMs are confidential and our goal is for everyone to have rich and purposeful experience within the organization.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS
The Academy Teams are development teams for the official Yuzu Dog Competitive team. The official Yuzu Dog competitive team will consist of the absolute top performing players from the Academy Teams. This comes down to a discussion by team leaders and, ultimately, to be decided by the Admins.
Players who show great promise will be invited to the Yuzu Dog Competitive Server.
For players interested in a spot on the Official Competitive Team, you’re encouraged to be active on the server, to perform well in scrims and tournaments while a member of an Academy Team, and to show the knowledge, tact, and passion to give the Yuzu Dog Organization the best chance to compete.
