To get better and also help my team get better at the same time by using teamwork

I have been playing cod for awhile and just recently transferred to vanguard after playing Cold War and I keep trying to get better everyday By playing in the game modes that multiplayer has to offer. But I do feel it would be better to play on a team with people who can use teamwork and communicate with each other and also who want to get better at the same time. I also would like to possibly play in tournaments in the future and help do as much I can for the team I play in.
